Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 17 July 2026.

1. Purpose and scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the Anna AI receptionist service and related services provided by Haroon Mirza (ABN 93 736 861 941) trading as Zaynetiq. It forms part of the customer Agreement, applies to the Customer and anyone the Customer allows to use or configure the Service, and capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

2. Lawful use

You must use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including the Australian Consumer Law, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth), surveillance devices and listening devices legislation of the relevant states and territories, and telecommunications laws.

3. Prohibited uses

You must not use, or attempt to use, the Service to:

  • send unsolicited commercial electronic messages, or any message without a functional unsubscribe facility where required, in breach of the Spam Act 2003 (Cth);
  • make telemarketing calls or send marketing messages to numbers on the Do Not Call Register in breach of the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth);
  • record conversations unlawfully by any means outside the Service, or circumvent the Service's AI disclosure announcements;
  • mislead or deceive any person, including by holding Anna out as a human where disclosure is required or configured, impersonating another business or person, or making false or unsubstantiated claims to End Users;
  • harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person, or send content that is unlawful, obscene, or incites harm;
  • collect or handle sensitive information (including health information) without lawful authority and any required consents;
  • provide, or purport to provide, professional advice (legal, medical, financial or similar), or handle emergency calls or requests for emergency assistance;
  • engage in fraud, scams, phishing, or the marketing of prohibited or unlawful products or services;
  • infringe any person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, including by uploading knowledge base content you are not entitled to use;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, interfere with its operation, circumvent usage limits or security controls, introduce malicious code, or access data of another customer; or
  • resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service, or use it to develop a competing product, without our written agreement.

4. High-risk uses

The Service is designed for receptionist and administrative tasks. You must not deploy it, without our prior written approval and appropriate safeguards, for uses where an error could reasonably cause serious harm — including medical triage or diagnosis, emergency dispatch, crisis counselling, or decisions with legal effect on individuals.

5. Fair use

Plan allowances are intended for the ordinary receptionist needs of a single business. We may apply reasonable technical limits, and treat as excessive any usage pattern that materially exceeds ordinary use for your Plan (for example, automated or artificial call generation, or sharing one subscription across multiple unrelated businesses). Where usage is excessive, we will contact you to discuss the right Plan before taking any action, except where immediate action is needed to protect the Service or other customers.

6. Your responsibilities to your End Users

You are responsible for your End Users' experience of Anna on your behalf, including: keeping your configuration accurate; ensuring the required AI disclosure remains enabled; maintaining a privacy policy that covers information Anna collects for you; honouring opt-outs and unsubscribe requests promptly; and reviewing bookings and commitments Anna records.

7. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this AUP has been breached, we may: ask you to remedy the breach; remove or disable offending content or configurations; suspend the Service; or terminate the Agreement for material breach in accordance with the Terms of Service. Where practicable we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy before suspending, except where urgent action is required by law or to prevent harm, fraud, or risk to the Service or any person.

We may report unlawful activity to relevant authorities. To report a suspected breach of this AUP, contact [email protected].
